The Godiva Gluten-Free Chocolate Cheesecake was incredible! You would never know it was not gluten-free. What a treat.

What a shame – since Godiva chocolate itself cannot guarantee that it is gluten-free, using Godiva in the cheesecake shows Cheesecake Factory's lack of research regarding celiac disease. It's hard for me to trust the rest of the menu because of this.

Cheesecake Factory gets a gluten free version of Godiva from Godiva specifically for this.

Doesn't matter if its a gluten-free version of chocolate, if they don't do anything to control cross-contact and they freely admit that there could be as much as 20 ppm of gluten in the items then the products contain gluten and can't be considered gluten-free.

    Is the pasta gluten free?

if you are truly sensitive to gluten, like in celiac disease, you should not consume any Godiva chocolate product–see their website where Godiva itself recommends this, even regarding solid chocolate.

At the Cheescake Factory in my area, they do have the gluten-free menu. However, when I ate certain items like the french fries in the past that were supposed to be gluten-free, they caused me pain and stomach distress. When I spoke with a managager, he said I shouldn't ever eat the fries. What is the point of having a "gluten-free" menu if it's not really gluten-free and you can make people sick? Last night, I ordered a carved turkey GF sandwich and a side of plain sauteed spinach. I happened to move the spinach around and found pieces of what looked like mashed up pasta and a wheat based bow tie noodle. I did not eat the sandwich since I was unsure of any of the food being gluten free. They did provide another meal but we had to drive back to pick it up–since we ordered as take-out. I do believe that there is no "safe" way of eating there if you are sensitive enough to cross-contamination. I'm done with experimenting. The safest way is to prep your own food in your own kitchen or eat at Disney–the only place I have eaten where extreme care is given so that no cross contamination occurs.

Wendy's chili and baked potato (plain). Chick-fillet grilled chicken and fruit salad. These are the only things we eat out unless we can go to a specialty restaurant. It is fast food but it is safe and nutritious food. We never go to goopy chains like Cheesecake Factory, where just the smell of the wheat in the restaurant can make my daugther ill. We always carry our own food if forced by social situations to sit in such a place. If you haven't had to deal with it, you just can't understand the extreme sensitivity. Also, different subject, beware of sushi. If it is shelved in a grocery story or other location where it might sit for several hours, a stabilizer is often added to the rice – it contains wheat.

Went to the CF in Prudential Center in Boston….and the gluten free menu IS NOT GLUTEN FREE! shameful they claim that. The french fries are fried with breaded products and the broccoli is cooked in pasta water, the corn chips for the guacamole are also fried with breaded items. This clam should be illegal…accidental exposure is one thing, but this is downright WRONG!

I ate at the Cheesecake Factory in Milwaukee and ordered off the gluten free menu which was a joke. They "modify" items, but I was extremly ill after eating there. I spoke to the manager and she said they do not stand behind their gluten free menu. I said as a person with many food allergies I look forward to eating out and especially if there is a gluten free menu. When you tell me you do not stand behind it does not give me hope for any of my order being correct. When we order carry out for work I asked if the cobb salad dressing was gluten free and the girl said yes. I called back and asked someone to ask the chef and I was informed they don't know because they make it different every day. Really? What a joke!

The floating social media widgets are covering some of the content I'd prefer to read on the page and it's really annoying.

unless they have a dedicated fryer, I highly doubt their french fries are gluten free…

They have gluten free pasta, but cook it in the same water as their other pastas. What is the point? The "gluten free" Godiva Cheesecake is anything BUT GF. They dust the pan with FLOUR before making it. Ugh. Do they think Celiac is a joke?

I wish these companies would take celiacs disease as seriously as they would any other food allergy! Dairy, fish, egg, peanut etc. It's good and bad that GF has become such a fad diet! It's good because stores have tons of gluten free products labeled! But it sucks because a lot of people think I'm joking around when I ask for the GF option!

If they really dust the pan with flour that is indeed "a joke." I am not celiac, but have a horrible allergy to Wheat(enriched wheat flour to be exact). If I eat anything with wheat in it, or has even touched wheat my throat closes up and I can not breath. I can tell you the ranch dressing I had recently at Cheesecake Factory caused me immediate issues, the waitress was so confused whether it was GF or not I luckily only had one bite. I have had the Godiva Cheesecake though, and had no issues.
